Position: Leadership Executive

“Executive Management – Youth Organization”

Are you an effective communicator, results oriented, and driven to successful goal achievement? Do you want to make a difference impacting kids through Positive Youth Development? Then we have the right position for you! The Aloha Council, Boy Scouts of America has an executive management opening on Oahu. We are seeking an experienced management executive to lead a team of staff and volunteers. The position is composed of the following tasks: sales and marketing; recruiting, training, and managing adult volunteers; fundraising; and public relations. The successful applicant will possess: a Bachelor’s Degree, prior management training and experience, a willingness to work long and irregular hours and a valid driver’s license. Starting salary $35,000–$48,000 with full paid benefits; auto and phone reimbursement; and retirement plan.

Position: Camp Ranger

The Aloha Council is looking for a fulltime Camp Ranger to fill the ranger position at Camp Pupukea. The Camp Ranger’s principal job function is the care, maintenance and operation of Camp property. Qualifications include, an energetic, friendly individual capable of managing multiple tasks with minimum supervision. Experience in property management and/or a trade (i.e. plumbing, electrical, auto mechanics, etc.) is important, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the values and standards of the BSA in your personal life and in your work
  • Business and Fiscal Management Responsibilities
  • Protection and Security of Camp Property and People
  • Maintenance of Physical Facilities, Property and Equipment
  • Relationships - Represent the Aloha Council in contacts with visitors, Scouts and Scouters
