Camp Honoka’ia is located between Honoka’a and Waimea (Kamuela) above Waipio Valley, known as the “Valley of Kings” on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Located on 210 acres of dense wood and heavy plant growth, Camp Honoka’ia exposes Scouts to the opportunity to camp in a tropical rain forest and participate in ecology-conservation programs featuring many of Hawai’i’s endangered species.
